|03.02.2010|«Nozzle-FEM» new version 2.05 release
NTP Truboprovod Co. has released a new version 2.05 of «Nozzle-FEM» program.
This version includes the following new options:
  • selection of appropriate stress estimation code; GOST R 52857.1–2007 and GOST R 52857.10–2007 (for hydrogen sulphide-containing media), which can be used along with PNAE G-7-002-86;
  • minimum possible distance from the nozzle to head and shell edge has been reduced;
  • optimized balance between geometrical dimensions of finite elements along axis of cylindrical shell now makes it possible to reduce calculation time, in particular, for long vessels and runs;
  • loads on bevelling cut are now applicable both to run and to branch coordinate systems;
  • adjustable quantity of circuits of stress isometric lines (3-30).

PASSAT 2.01 new version is now available.
This version includes the following new features:
  1. Calculations as per GOST 52857-2007, including:
    • Standard material database has been brought into compliance with GOST R 52857.1-2007;
    • Calculation of shells and heads as per GOST 52857.2-2007;
    • Calculation of nozzles for pressure and external loads as per GOST R 52857.3-2007, GOST R 52857.9-2007;
    • Strength and leak tightness calculation of flange joints as per GOST R 52857.4-2007;
    • Strength calculation from influence of supporting loads as per GOST R 52857.5-2007;
    • Low-cycle strength calculation as per GOST R 52857.6-2007 is applied to all model elements;
    • Calculation of shell-and-tube heat exchangers as per GOST R 52857.7-2007;
    • Calculations of jacketed apparatuses as per GOST R 52857.8-2007, including cylindrical jackets with expansion joint;
    • Strength calculation under the influence of hydrosulphuric mediums as per GOST R 52857.10-2007.
  2. New option — import/export to open format XML — is now available.
  3. Elliptic heads per GOST 6533-78 have been added to standard material database.
  4. Supporting shells per ATK 24.200.04-90 ("PASSAT-Columns" module) have been added to standard material database.

|21.07.2009|Nozzle-FEM Program ver.2.04 is available
NTP Truboprovod has released a new version 2.04 of Nozzle-FEM Program. Download.
This version includes the following new options:
  • program handling and receiving reports in the English language;
  • calculation of straight and bevelling tie-ins into the main pipeline. Loads can be applied both to branch section and main pipeline section on free edge;
  • program application conditions are extended due to reduction of minimum distance from shell's (head's) edge to nozzle;
  • a new option - preview of calculation model in deformed state;
  • improved tables view in reports for more convenient transfer to MS Office documents.

NTP Truboprovod has released a new version 1.09 of PASSAT Program.
This version supports the following new options:
  • calculation of elements with different form jackets;
  • database of standard elements was enlarged, and some more improvements were implemented.
